Ingredients:
2 cup Penne Pasta or any other pasta
chopped green bell pepper (1 cup)
chopped yellow bell pepper (1 cup)
chopped red bell pepper (1 cup)
chopped mushroom (1 cup)
chopped onion (1 cup)
chopped garlic (2 cloves)
sweet corn (1 cup)
milk (4 cup)
butter cubes
chicken(optional)
grated cheese (1 cup)
2 tsp refined flour/maida
cheese slice(2)
chilli flakes(1 tsp)
oregano/herbs (1 tsp)
black pepper powder
1 tsp salt
In a pan, add 4 cups of water; bring it to boil then add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil. When it starts boiling, add 2 cups of Penne pasta .You can use wheat pasta as well which is healthy and nutritious as well. Boil the pasta for 7-10 mins. Drain out the excess water and keep it in a Large bowl.
Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan or Kadai, add chopped garlic first, then chopped onion followed by all the chopped vegetables. You can also add vegetables of your choice like broccoli, carrot, beans, cauliflower, zucchini etc. Stir continuously and let the veggies cook for 3-4 mins but make sure it is still crunchy. Keep the sauteed veggies in a bowl. You can optionally add fried chicken pieces.
Heat 2 butter cubes in a pan over medium flame and add 2 tsp of all purpose flour/maida and stir constantly. Pour 1 cup of milk while stirring with a whisk and make sure there are no lumps in the mixture. Keep it in low flame and add oregano, black pepper powder, herbs, chilli flakes. Mix them well and add grated cheese. Use 2 cheese slices to have a creamy texture and again add 1 cup of milk. Add all the sauteed veggies, salt as per taste,fried chicken and the boiled pasta into the thickened white sauce .
Your creamy and yummy delicious white sauce pasta is ready to serve. 🙂
