1. Ho dormito per tutto il viaggio: mi sono svegliata solo quando l’aereo E’ ATTERRATO!
Translation: I slept for the whole trip: I woke up only when the airplane landed.
2. Siamo veramente in ritardo! Forse è meglio mangiare a casa e DISDIRE il ristorante! Andremo la prossima settimana!
Translation: We are really running late! Maybe it’s best we eat home and we cancel the restaurant reservation! We will go next week!
3. Quando siamo andati a Roma abbiamo PERNOTTATO di fronte al Colosseo!
Translation: When we went to Rome we stayed (in a hotel) in front of the Colosseum!
4. In Grecia ho NOLEGGIATO un motorino per raggiungere facilmente le spiagge
Translation: In Greece we rented a scooter so as to easily reach the beached.
5. L’aereo dovrebbe ATTERRARE alle ore 9:00 e poi DECOLLARE verso le 15.20.
Translation: The plane should land at 9.00 am and take off around 3.20 pm
6. Per quest’anno non abbiamo PRENOTATO nessuna vacanza: dobbiamo risparmiare!
Translation: This year we didn’t book a holiday: we need to save!
