Sauce Recipe
– 4 tbsp olive oil
– 1 cup of chopped onions
– 1 cup of chopped tomatoes
– 6 pieces of garlic chopped
– 2 tbsp Fresh chopped ginger
– 15 ounces tomato sauce
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp pepper
– 1/4 cup tamarind
– 3 tbsp of Cilantro

1. Place a sauce pot on the stove on medium heat
3. Add 4 tbsp olive oil to the sauce pot
4. Add 1 cup of chopped onions
5. Sauté for a few minutes
6. Add 6 pieces of chopped garlic
7. Add 2 tbsp of fresh, chopped ginger
8. Add 1 cup of chopped tomatoes
9. Cook until tomato is soft (around 10 minutes) then add two cans of tomato sauce
10. Add 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper
11. Add 1/4 cup tamarind
12. Add 3 tbsp of cilantro
13. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes
14. Total cook time: 25 minutes

Steak Recipe
– Marinated in soy sauce
– 4 tbsp of flour
– Some salt
– Some pepper
– 1 tbsp rosemary ground

1. Marinate the steak in soy sauce
3. Place 4 tbsp flour in a bowl
4. Add some salt and pepper to the flour
5. Add 1 tbsp of rosemary ground into the flour
6. Mix well
7. Coat the streak with the mixed flour and spices
8. Add some olive oil to a pan on medium heat
9. Place the meat on the pan
10. Cover meat with a large sieve while cooking so the oil won’t splash
11. Flip meat after 6 or until browned
12. Cook the other side, flip after 6 minutes or until browned
13. Take off the stove and place in a bowl
14. Add most of the sauce into an empty pot
15. Place the meat on top of the sauce
16. Pour some of the leftover sauce on top of the meat
17. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in the oven
18. Once taken out of the oven, meat should be at 140 degrees Fahrenheit

Grits Recipe
– Boil 3 cups of water
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 2 teaspoon olive oil
– 1 cup of grits

1. Add 3 cups of water to a pot on medium heat
2. Bring water to a boil
3. Add 1/2 tsp salt and 2 tsp olive oil
4. Whisk in 1 cup of grits while stirring
5. Once grits starts to bubble, put heat on low for 7 minutes and stir occasionally
