Ingredients:

For Blanching Broccoli

Broccoli – 1 flower or about 150 g
Water
Ice Cubes

For White Sauce

Oil – 1 tbsp
Butter – 4 tbsp or about 40 g
Maida / All purpose flour – 2 tbsp
Milk – 2 Cups or about half liter
Italian Mixed Herbs – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli flakes – 1/2 tsp
Pasta Seasoning – pinch
Grated Cheese – 1/2 Cup or about 100 g

For Cooking Pasta

Pasta (Any shape) – 1 1/2 Cups
Water
Oil – few drops
Salt
Cold Water or tap water

For Making Pasta

Oil – 1 tbsp
Garlic – 4-5 cloves
Onions – 1 small
Corn – 1/4 Cup (fresh or frozen)
Blanched Broccoli
Sugar – 1tsp
Red Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
Italian Mixed Herbs – 1/2 tsp
Salt – to taste
Cooked Pasta
Prepared White Sauce
Cheese Slice – 1
Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp

Tips:

1. Blanching the Broccoli will help retain the green color and avoid overcooking
2, Adding more butter helps in avoiding lumps.
3. Adding flour while the butter temperature is low helps avoiding lumps.
4. Blanching the pasta after cooking will stop the pasta getting mushy
5. A pinch of sugar brings out all the other flavors.
6. If you want to avoid cheese, double the amount of flour.
