Today we siphoned the wine into bottles to begin the clarification process. This was also our first time racking the wine, which means we removed the liquid from the yeast sediment. In about 1 week we will do a taste test and siphon/rack again.
Outside was like being in a giant snow globe that someone had just shook so we decided to take some time and enjoy the fresh fallen snow. Nothing like a snowball fight to make you feel young again. The dogs even joined in the fun. Then we take some time to appreciate Mother Nature and all her beauty sitting on our terrace watching the snow fall. The peace, tranquility and silence reminds us of how great our world is.
