Sharing the love of Italian wine with friends is one of my favorite things. But sharing wine with a friend that is a registered Italian Sommelier makes all the difference. I would like to introduce my friend Monica Maretti who just happens to be a Italian Sommelier that also speaks english. We have come up with a fun and “new” way to discuss the Italian wines offered to you at your local stores. Monica and I will be conducting a class live from Italy. Before class you will be given a list of three Italian wines with the name of the producer (vineyard). These wines are generally easy to purchase in the states. After this wine class you will have developed confidence in wine tasting with friends and family. Monica will share her knowledge and suggestions along with terminology that will give you insight into the world of wine in a fun and practical way. The added bonus to this class is we will be hosted by Palazzo Torriani a Italian villa in Marradi Italy the jewel of Tuscany. AnnaMaria and Mariaemilia will take us on a tour of their beautiful home.
