How to make Idli batter in instant pot | Ferment Idli Batter [Instant Pot]
Idli is one of the famour south-indian stapled breakfast. Idli is hightly nutrious and healthy breakfast which is liked by kids to adults. The best combinations wil be idli/sambar, idli/mutton curry or chicken curry or with fish curry. Idli batter is made with idli rice and urad dal and fermented for atleast 8 hours. Instant pot has become a boon to people like me who live in cold places where fermenting takes long hours. Instant pot ferments the idli batter in yogurt mode wiht perfect heat settings and the batter rises as expected to make soft and spongy idlis. In this video i have shown how to make the batter and ferment in instant pot.Also shown making idlis using the same batter in pressure cooker.

Ingredients
Idli Rice – 4 cups
Urad Dal -1 cup
Poha/Aval/Flattened Rice -1/2 cup
Methi seeds -1 tsp
Salt- 3 tsps
Cold water for grinding
