Home-made Wine | How to make Red Wine at home | Part 1

In theory, making wine is very simple. Yeast meets grape juice in an environment that allows fermentation. Just nature being nature. Winemaking at home requires simple equipment, serious cleanliness, a mess of patience and a good mood to enjoy the wine with your loved ones.

The process
Step 1: Selecting the ripen Grapes & Cleaning
Right grapes determine the sweetness, flavor and acidity of the wine

Step 2: Crushing
Just break and open the grape. Do not break the seeds, solid pulp and skin

Step 3: Fermentation
Conversion of sugar into alcohol through the action of yeast

Step 4: Filtering
To remove tannins, Proteins & Dead yeast from the wine

Step 5: Aging and bottling
Enables the wine to reach the optimal flavor

In this video we will do the first 3 steps. Part 2 of this video will contain the next stage of wine making.

Wine Making
Ingredients: Grapes, Sugar & Yeast

Equipments:
Glass / Ceramic Jar (Capacity – Double the quantity of wine)
Strainer, Smasher, Large Bowl, Airlock Bottle

For Sanitizing:
Brewing sanitizer or Hot water to sterilize
