Loaded Italian Sausages
These Loaded Italian Sausages are keto friendly, low carb and super easy to make.
Ingredients
1 (5 to 6) pack of Italian sausages
1 green bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 medium yellow onion
½ cup cheese
¼ roma tomato
2 jalapeno
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Directions
chop up your onions and bell peppers and butterfly the sausages. over medium high heat add some oil to your pan or griddle and sauté your veggies for 2 mins seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Move your veggies to the cool side of the griddle and add your sausages open side down. cook for 4-5 mins to get a good sear on the sausages. Flip them over to cook the bottom half and top with the cooked veggies. Add any additional toppings we used tomato slices and jalapenos. Grill them add to the veggies and top with cheese (if you have a large enough lid you can add ¼ cup of water and place a dome over top to melt the cheese). cook for another 3-4 mins once cheese melted its ready to serve.
