Apart from making delicious wine, Gush Etzion Winery also has an amazing Kosher restaurant led by Chef Gidon Amir. In his attempt to taste something different, Moshe learns to cook a pappardelle dish that any of you could cook at home.
Gush Etzion Pappardelle
Serves 2
Ingredients:
8 oz. pappardelle pasta
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1 cup chopped artichokes
3/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
1/2 cup shredded Kashkaval cheese
A dash of dry white wine
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta for 4 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, sauté the mushrooms for a few minutes in olive oil before adding in the sun-dried tomatoes. Sauté for another minute before adding in the artichokes. Add in a bit more olive oil if necessary.
3. Add a bit of the pasta water to the veggie mixture before adding in the noodles. Make sure to mix well to avoid sticking.
4. Throw in a dash of white wine and salt in pepper to taste.
5. Finally, add in the cheese and mix well before serving.
