Today let’s learn to make some super crunchy roasted & salted cashew snack without any cashews. This cashew (kaju) shaped Indian snack with Italian and Indian spice mix is the perfect evening snack. Store it in an airtight container and keep it for more than 3 months.
►Ingredients
All Purpose flour – 1 1/2 cups
Salt – 1 tsp
Ghee – 3 tbsp
Baking Powder – 1 tsp
Baking Soda – 1/2 tsp
Water
Oil for frying
►Italian Spice Mix
Garlic powder – 1 tsp
Ginger powder – 1 tsp
Parsley – 1 tsp
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Rosemary – 1 tsp
Oregano – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Salt
►Indian Spice Mix
Salt -1 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Chilly Powder – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
►Method
1. Mix flour, salt, Baking powder and soda.
2. Add ghee and water and make a dough.
3. Roll it and using a cap or piping nozzle cut the rolled out dough into cashew shapes and fry it.
4. Coat the spice mix when it is hot.
