Letizia Mattiacci is the owner of Alla Madonna del Piatto Cooking school near Assisi in Italy. Her second cookbook named “Festa Italiana” is a follow up of “A Kitchen with a view” and consists of 260 pages of beautiful photos, detailed guides to making bread, pasta and polenta, recipes spanning from simple everyday feasts to great recipes for special occasions as well as history, myths and legends about the Italian holidays and festivals throughout the year.
