Ali Frantti is one of my favourite people! Such a sweetheart, and an absolute gun on the court! She graduated as a 4 year starting player from Penn State, which is no small feat! We played together in Mulhouse, France 2 years ago, which was her first full professional season abroad. We came up with the nickname Moose, and its stuck! So forgive me if its hard for me to use her real name!
But today she shows me around her super stylish apartment, the quiet streets of Chieri, and in the dome of Pala Fenera where she plays for Giulio Bregoli, an Italian coach who I also worked with in Saint Raphael 4 years ago. Volleyball is such a small world.
