This month we are sharing two beautiful and unique boutique Italian wines with Manuel Magnani from Sunrise Wines!
Our selection includes two wines you are sure to enjoy with friends and family over the holidays. Our featured white is an elegant pinot grigio from the wine maker Mario Schiopetto. The Schiopetto name is legendary among Italian wine producers. This pinot grigio presents a level of complexity and elegance not typically found in pinot grigios. This highly rated wine presents a bit of passionfruit, banana and lemon; an intriguing wine that you won’t want to miss.
Our featured red wine is an organic, 100% nerello mascalese wine from the eastern part of Sicily. Referred to as the “new Burgundy of Europe,” it reflects the quality of pinot noir that is grown on volcanic soil which gifts the wine with an incredible bit of minerality. Very unique and special, the wine explodes with a quality of “liquid rock” as well as an elegant and silky palette.
