In this video we take the train from Monterosso al Mare to Corniglia and Vernazza Cinque Terre (5 Terre) Italy.
We started the day in our suite at the Porto Roca hotel in Monterosso. We took the train to Corniglia the only one of the Cinque Terre (5 Terre) town inaccessible by ocean. We took the bus up the hill by buying the ticket at the “Cinque Terre Pointe” at the Corniglia train station. Maybe you can buy it online using the #TrenItalia app. I don’t know. While in Corniglia we ate at #Cecil Ristorante Camere a restaurant that has INCREDIBLE views of Corniglia. If you want snack, water, or other food items #LisaMarket has what you need. Walk down the stairs from Corniglia to the train station to get AMAZING views of the ocean and the terraced landscape.
We took the train from Corniglia to Vernazza (download the #Trenitalia app it works GREAT). In #Vernazza we noticed a cave along the main walk plaza and ended up in #VernazzaBeach. Google #Bruschettae then look left, you’ll see the cave. After that we went to the restaurant #Belforte for our anniversary dinner. Make reservations in advance. They probably won’t have space if you try to walk in (space is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions). The food, service and views are why this restaurant is FIVE STARS!
