Take a peak inside the Italy Pavilion on Monica’s Epcot World Showcase Tour. Like the United Kingdom Pavilion, it doesn’t have a ride. However, there is a Venetian charm to the Italy Pavilion that you can’t get anywhere else in the world (except perhaps in Venice!). This Italian theming, shopping, and authentic food is a don’t miss inside a replica of St. Mark’s Square in Venice complete with a smaller version of St. Mark’s Tower. In fact, Monica’s favorite restaurant in Epcot is Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria. Their dedication to authentic Italian cuisine goes so far that they import their flour from Italy and chemically alter the water to match the pH levels found in Naples. It all pays off in tremendously great Italian food. The Italian Pavilion is also home to Tutto Italia Ristorante. For some great shopping, be sure to check out La Gemma Elegante in a building modeled after the Doge’s Palace in Venice.
