It’s world egg day today and if you want to cook something with eggs but don’t want the regular omelette or a half fry, you gotta try frittata! This dish is an Italian cousin of ‘open faced omelette’ and is very soft & flavourful! The word frittata derives from friggere and roughly means ‘fried’. This was originally used as a term for cooking eggs in a skillet, anywhere on the spectrum from fried egg, to an Italian version of the Spanish omelette, made with fried potato. Do give it a try and enjoy egg day!

Ingredients needed to make frittata:

1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp salt
½ cup milk
1 ½ tbsp oil
chopped garlic 3 cloves
½ cup sliced onions

1 cup methi leaves
5-6 chopped mushrooms
1 cube of cheese.
