Note: Depending on your cooking pot or meat thickness, cooking time will vary. When meat easily falls apart – it’s done !! (Don’t try any speed with higher heat – sauce will dry out.)

Low cost Steak cut – Round, Chuck – cut ¼” thin = 1 lb /2 people
Grated Parmigiana or Romano cheese = ½ handful
Fresh Parsley = ½ handful
Dried Oregano = A few pinches
Garlic = ½ clove
Salt & Pepper = couple of pinches
Fresh Basil = ½ handful
Olive oil = 3 dashes
Tomato passata = ¾ to 1 full bottle
Tomato cherry = small can
White wine = at least a handful (cup)
Carrots, Celery, Onions = all three mixed = 1 handful
Penne (or pasta of your choice) = ¾ to 1 full pack
