Italy is synonymous with luxury.
I loved hearing the language spoken. It’s like running your hand over velvet while sitting by a fireplace.
Luckily I was able to feel up a lot of velvet in the form of wine tasting. All the tastings were given in Italian, and adeptly translated to English by my bilingual host.
I recommend listening to poetry in Italian when you’re feeling the urge for something dreamy.
