No one can go a block in Manhattan’s Little Italy’s San Genarro Festival without seeing or smelling sausage & peppers stands. In years past, I’ve always had to smuggle my own hot peppers from the garden and always thought I should bring my own seeded semolina twist bread from Brooklyn. Even though the feast was cancelled this year due to Covid, a feast I have never missed since birth, I made the best of this annual tradition it and did it my way!
