Affogato is an Italian coffee-based dessert. It usually takes the form of a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream topped or “drowned” with a shot of hot espresso or your favorite strong coffee.

1-2 Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream
1/4 cup of hot water mixed with 3 teaspoon of coffee powder
Topped with caramel sauce (optional)
Sprinkled with Dark Chocolate (optional)
Favorite type of nuts (optional)
