Hi everyone,
We started our trip by visiting one of the most famous city in the world, ROME. It has so much history, amazing architecture and delicious food! We had such an amazing time. If you haven’t watched it already, the link below. We are now heading south to BARI, capital of the region of Puglia in southeastern Italy and we’ll also take you on a day trip to the historic city of Matera which can be easily done from Bari.
Matera should be at the top of everyone’s bucket list! It’s really a sight to behold and it feels like we’ve travelled back in time. We loved getting lost through the maze of narrow streets and the countless staircases and tiny courtyards…and really, in our opinion, the best way to soak in the vibe of this place!

While strolling in the old town, we saw a line up for Sgagliozze, a traditional Italian Street Food (fried polenta (Cornmeal) with salt).

Church of Saint Nicolas
The basilica was built from 1087 onwards to house the relics of St Nicolas.
