In this video I show you how to make green pasta dough with natural food. I do not use any food coloring or powdered stuff. In Italy we use real produce, like spinach, to color our food naturally. You could use other greens such as nettle or swiss chard.

For a beginner, the most challenging part of coloring your dough is kneading while you adjust the dough to the humidity of the added vegetable. In simple terms this means you will have to add more flour although the exact amount will change each time. Not difficult to learn but it does take some patience.
