These places tell us about history: on this ridge in fact the imperial soldiers were rejected by the Royal Army during the Battle of Arresto which took place between October and December 1917 with thousands of victims, Monte Grappa thus became a fundamental bulwark in defense of the Venetian Plain.
Hike along the western ridge of the Grappa massif, known as the “Dorsale degli Asoloni”. We will touch the peaks of Col della Berretta, Monte Asolone, Monte Coston and Monte Rivon, ending the excursion to Cima Grappa with a visit to the ossuary.
