Chef Jaky grew up relishing his Mother and God Mother’s food in India. After deciding to pursue a career in food industry, he graduated in 2004 from Anjuman-I-Islam and holds a diploma in Hotel Management and Catering technology. Hailing from Mumbai, INDIA, Chef Jaky began his Culinary Journeyas a Demi Chef De Partie atThe Oberoi hotels and resorts. Post that, he worked his way upto to setting up a Fine Dining Italian Restaurant named “Vetro” for the Hotel. He then decided to shift gears and try his hands on workingfor Queen Mary 2in a Cruise liner forabout 6 months. Post that he went back to Hotel industry and served Abu Dhabi National Hotel as an Head Chef for 6 and a halfyears where he was in chargeof the research and development of the new & existing products, designing and tasting recipes and writing recipes.Currently Chef Jaky is associated with Etihad Airways as an Inflight Chef for about 7 years. He implements the Service and Hospitalityactivities in the First class cabin, working in conjunction with the Crew, overseeing and managing all First class serviceoperations to ensure that theguest enjoy to the highest standards ofservice and quality while dining at 40000 ft above Sea level.Every destination he lands, he loves wandering around in search of something new with regards to Culinary. He always believes in “Learning never stops, there is always a room left for improvement”.With 16 years of rich experience Chef Jaky also acquired multiple awards and recognitions. He is a “StateLevel Gold Medalist” and won the title of “The Best Young Chef” conducted by Nestle back in 2006. Besides cooking Chef Jaky loves traveling, at least once a year, He loves taking a trip to Exotic Destinations to expand his vast culinary and life experiences.
