This new resort opened at the end of November with an incredible beachfront setting on an exclusive island in Abu Dhabi. You’ll be surrounded by natural beauty, including a 400-metre stretch of protected sand dunes, with the chance of seeing some pretty amazing wildlife – that’s if you can tear yourself away from the hotel’s delicious restaurants and pampering spa.
Why stay here? The design is stunning, there’s plenty to do on this up-and-coming island and during turtle nesting season, you might even see Hawksbill turtles on the 9km sweeping beachfront. The hotel also gets green points for having opened with a policy of being free of plastic straws and single-use plastic bottles.
Nearest attractions Saadiyat is a beautiful island 500 metres off the coast of Abu Dhabi that is being sensitively developed with a focus on nature, Emirati heritage, and culture. The island is already home to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, which opened in 2017, and will eventually house the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and the Zayed National Museum.
Beach and pools Walk out onto a 9km beach, or take your pick from three infinity pools; the resort’s eight villas come with their own pools.
