The text, contains the popular “wisdom” that a glass of wine is more sincere than the love of a woman; in this case however, a man.

Il testo, racchiude la “sapienza” popolare secondo cui è più sincero un bicchiere di vino che l’amore di una donna, ma in questo caso – un uomo.

1 A sweet wine from Dalmatia similar to Botrytis wines; at times, Dalmato is also used to indicate a type of Dalmatian prosecco.
The Italian Folk Ensemble (Adelaide) has been for over 40 years, studying and performing traditional and popular songs and dances of the Italian people, fully respecting their individual musical style and their cultural context. These songs cover a wide spectrum of emotions and experiences of the people of Italy through the ages, and as such, they are a unique medium to learn Italian culture and history.
