Today’s episode I will talk about piedmont Italian wine, we’re going to learn about Italian wine specifically, Aosta Valley Italian Red Wine.

The Italian Wine Diaries – Come & explore Italian Wine with me in this new series. This first episode we explore the Aosta Valley in the north-west corner of Italy (bordering France) 🇮🇹

Aosta is super special, not only for their native red varieties (which I am almost hesitant to share with you, as I’d prefer to keep them all to myself 🤔) however my husband is also Valdostano!

Valle d’Aosta is largely influenced by its neighboring countries and French is the second official language spoken in the region. The French influence is also seen in its wines (Italian-french wine fusion, hello!).

To explore this region I picked @grosjean.vins for their commitment to organic agriculture and long-running history in the region. Check out my further thoughts in the video!

What do you think, do you like this new series? Should I continue with it?
