In July 2020 we were so fortunate to visit Giol – the castle and the winery.
Giol is famous for their Prosecco, making organic, vegan and also no sulfur added wines.
The owner Vittorio Carraro showed me around the winery where they have made since 1427.
Today, he has also planted grape varieties that should be naturally more resistant to climate-change.
This film was made in regards to a digital winecourse I held in August 20 when we were comparing Col Fondo Prosecco and Prosecco made by the today more common “tank method”.
