Prima Pasta, one of the best Italian Restaurant in Houston TX, was founded in 1989 by Mo Akbari (Chef Cameron Basil). Mo who worked for many years as a waiter in other restaurants always had the dream to one day have his own restaurant. He collected receipes through out the years, some from friends and some from top chefs that he met while traveling in Italy. After his trip to Italy, Mo knew exactly the style of food he wanted to serve in his own restaurant. An Italian restaurant to celebrate the authentic taste of Italy right here in Houston, TX. Today Prima Pasta is one of Houston’s favorite Italian restaurants. Prima Pasta has also been one of the favorites of the doctors and nurses of the medical center.
