Bruschetta is an Italian dish that is served as an antipasto. Antipasto is something you serve before Pasta in Italian cuisine. A toasted french bread that has a bit hard and dry texture and can soak up the dressing, is topped with various toppings. Tomato & Basil topping is one of the most popular and easiest to make. The taste of balsamic vinegar takes it to the next level. You can try and use red wine vinegar or any other choice of flavored vinegar for this dish. What is most important is the choice of cheese. Basil and parmesan is a marriage made in heaven but you can try your own thing. Some famous combinations are given below:

– Olives + Cherry Tomatoes + Feta cheese
– Mushrooms + Spinach + Ricotta cheese
– Grilled zucchini + Eggplant + Guda cheese
– Sundried tomatoes + Assorted peppers + dry Cranberries + Mozzarella cheese

Few tips or options:
– In order to marinate the topping, you need to keep it for at least 15 to 20 minutes. In order to avoid the toppings from turning sour, refrigeration of the toppings is essential.
– You can use sourdough bread, Italian bread, multigrain long loaf bread
– Make the toasted bread and toppings ahead of time. Assemble in at the very last minute to be served as a party starter. The topping can be made a day ahead. Store it in an airtight container and keep refrigerated. In the case of hot toppings, you need to make them on the same day but it can be made ahead of time and slightly warmed in the microwave at the very last minute.

List of Ingredients:
– 6 slices of French Baguette or similar French Bread
– 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
– 2 ripe Tomatoes, deseeded and chopped
– 6 to 7 Basil leaves, chopped
– 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
– 1 tsp Balsamic vinegar
– ½ tsp Garlic, grated
– ¼ tsp Salt
– ⅛ tsp Black pepper powder
– 1½ tbsp Castor Sugar
– 1 tbsp Olive oil

– ⅛ छोटा चम्मच काली मिर्च पाउडर
– 1½ बड़ा चम्मच कैस्टर चीनी
