Instead of drinking around the world, today I’m eating around the world and instagram is deciding what I eat! Join me as I explore world showcase, meet up with friends and explore Epcot for Taste of Food & Wine 2020.

Mexico had a delicious although slightly overpriced ribeye taco. China’s Mongolian Beef Bao Bun had a great sauce and the meet was cooked well. Speaking of sauces, the piri piri shrimp at the Africa booth was tasty, although the couscous wasn’t exactly my thing. Germany had an apple strudel with a strange but enjoyable vanilla cream. The birds really were curious about trying to have some of that one!

Italy’s cheese tortellini had too much bacon for my liking, as it masked any other flavors that were happening with the pasta and sauce. Hops & Barley’s lobster roll, after a brief strategy meeting, was dipped in butter and was amazing (but overpriced). Japan has a delicious teriyaki chicken bun and with that, I was completely stuffed!

Although Taste of Food & Wine at Epcot in Walt Disney World is very much not the full on festival we’ve come to experience, it was still a good time and I’m glad Disney is still hosting some kind of event.
