About Chef Anthony Burd:
At a young age, Anthony has had a passion for fine dining and Italian cuisine, which is driven by the culture behind the cuisine and the origin of its ingredients.
Following working three years in Italy and several stints at top restaurants in the US, Anthony worked at Marea in New York City, and then was invited by American chef/owner Michael White to work at Al Molo in Hong Kong.
Before joining The Sukhothai Bangkok, he was appointed by legendary French American Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten to helm the kitchen of his Mercato restaurant in Hong Kong. His cuisine and style are best described as cooking Italian flair with a creative new world twist.
