Dishes:

Chicken Shawarma- is basically well-marinated chicken, layered on a vertical rotisserie or spit where it’s slow-roasted for days–in its own juices and fat–until perfectly tender and extra flavorful!

Falafel is a deep-fried ball or patty made from ground chickpeas, fava beans, or both.

Dolma- is a family of stuffed dishes found in the Balkans, South Caucasus, Central Asia and the Middle East. Common vegetables for stuffing are tomato, pepper, onion, zucchini, eggplant and pointed gourd. Stuffed cabbage rolls and vine leaves are also very popular, which sometimes also called sarma. Tabbouleh-is a Levantine vegetarian salad made mostly of finely chopped parsley, with tomatoes, mint, onion, bulgur, and seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and sweet pepper. (Wikipedia)

*Bulgur- is a cereal food made from the cracked parboiled groats of several different wheat species, most often from durum wheat. It originates in Middle Eastern cuisine. (Wikipedia)

Fattoush Salad-a Levantine salad made from toasted or fried pieces of khubz combined with mixed greens and other vegetables, such as radishes and tomatoes. (Wikipedia)

Tahini or tahina is a condiment made from toasted ground hulled sesame.

Hummus is a dip, spread, or savory dish made from cooked, mashed chickpeas blended with tahini, lemon juice, and garlic.

Lebanese Moutabal-is a spicier version of baba ghannouj, a popular dip made from eggplant and tahini.

Halloumi or haloumi is a semi-hard, unripened, brined cheese made from a mixture of goat’s and sheep’s milk, and sometimes also cow’s milk. (Wiki)

Makdous – is a tiny, tangy eggplants stuffed with walnuts, red pepper, garlic, olive oil and salt. Sometimes chilli powder is added.
