This video shows you step by step on how I make my Italian Sausage Hot Dog. They are super flavorful on their own and I love that spicy kick in the hot variety. They are also available in mild & sweet if spicy is just your thing.
These delicious sausages are grilled to perfection and served on a sweet Hawaiian hot dog roll and topped with peppers and onions simmered in a rich white wine sauce.
They are also super flexible and can be cooked up in the oven or the stovetop.

1 pack (5) hot Italian sausages
Cold tap water
¼ cups each mixed bell peppers (I used, red, green, orange & yellow).
1 cup yellow onion
1 ½ cups dry white wine
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoon all-purpose seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter
