A light, but hearty pasta dish made with angel hair pasta, Italian chicken sausage, onions, peppers, white wine, and fresh basil. Simple, healthy, and delicious. Less than 30 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:
16 ounces angel hair pasta, cooked and strained
1 tablespoon olive oil (1 tsp for later)
5 teaspoons Italian chicken sausages, cut in slices
1 red onion, sliced thin
1 orange pepper, cut in thin strips
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup white wine
4 cups chicken broth
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
12 basil leaves, finely chopped
1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS:
Cook the pasta, drizzle with olive oil, and place in a large baking dish. (BE CAREFUL TO NOT OVERCOOK!)
Heat a deep skillet, add olive oil and sausages; cook until browned 4-5 minutes.
Move the sausages to one side of the pan, drizzle other side with 1 tsp olive oil, add onions and peppers.
Cook about 1-2 minutes, then add the garlic.
Cook 2-3 minutes until peppers begin to soften.
Add the white wine, broth, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
Let flavors blend for a couple of minutes, then add the fresh basil.
Pour sausage mixture over the pasta, mix well, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately!
