These Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies are my all-time favorite chocolate chip cookies. The peanut butter intensifies the chocolate flavor and takes a regular chocolate chip cookie to the next level.
The process to make the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies is very easy. Just keep in mind to let the cookie dough rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour before baking them.
Ingredients:
softened butter 110g.
brown sugar (cane sugar) 120g.
1 egg
peanut butter 120g.
vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
all-purpose flour 210g.
baking powder 3/4 teaspoon
dark chocolate chips 160g.
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix the butter with sugar until creamy (about 5 minutes).
2. Add the eggs and mix. Then add the peanut butter and vanilla extract.
3. Sift the flour and baking powder and add to the peanut butter mixture.
4. Add the chocolate chips to the dough and combine them.
5. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and let to rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
6. Form balls of dough, using an ice-cream scoop or a tablespoon. Remember to leave enough space between them.
7. Bake the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies at 180°C for 15 minutes. Once baked, let them cool down completely before transferring them from the parchment paper.
