The Vineyards. Tradition and Innovation
340 hectares (840 acres) of vineyards are divided into two main blocks; the first is 237 hectares (586 acres) and is located on the border between the cities of Montepulciano and Cortona, the other is comprised of 103 hectares (255 acres) that extend all the way to Montepulciano encompassing three of the best known parcels for producing great red wines: Cervognano, Santa Pia and Gracciano. The vineyards are planted principally to Sangiovese in the Montepulciano area and Syrah in Cortona together with a small quantity of Merlot.

Bring the family for a beach holiday in the friendly town of Vada. This small town on the Tuscan coast a few kilometres south of Livorno has 5 km of fine sandy beach, a cute town and crystal clear sea water surrounded by a lush pine forest.
Vada is quite a crowd puller for many reasons including the fact that it has been awarded the Blue Flag for clean beaches many times. Furthermore, when you take a beach holiday here, you have the choice of many interesting and cultural excursions just a bit back from the coast in the Tuscan hills. Either side of Vada, you have the beach towns of Cecina Mare and Rosignano Solvay where you will also find beautiful beaches and many facilities.
