Trattoria Altrove is the 2nd branch they opened
last 2015 in Coron Palawan. The Filipino Slovenian owned
restaurant it instantly became a not-so-secret “secret”
place when one wants to indulge in a gastronomical tour through
italy. The warm homey vibe of the restaurant is unpretentious,
with a tinge of intimacy and elegance, The dim lighting
at night gives even more drama to the place.
Adding to the experience, guest are asked to remove their shoes
upon entering the restaurant. Trattoria Altrove is known
for its outrageously delicious pizza made in a wood burning oven.
The pizzas are made from scratch (which basically makes all
the diffrence!) and it’s aunthentically Neapolitan with crispy thin crust
and typically soft center.
A crowd favourite is their “Prosciutto Crudo con Tartufo” (P720).
It has air-dried Parma ham with wild Italian truffle mushroom cream,
arugula and mozzarella. Another must-try is the Quattro Stagioni (P470)
