While we were in Tuscany, we did a cooking course with Chef Ryan. Ryan is an American who has lived in Tuscany for many years with his Italian wife, and he really knows the ins and outs of the italian kitchen. We were so impressed by how much we got out of the course, and we really learned a lot!
The course took place in Ryan’s own private kitchen, where we cooked inside his house and afterwards ate the food outside in the garden, overlooking the stunning Tuscan landscape. We made our own pasta, learned how to properly salt and cook a steak, made our own gelato (Italian ice cream) and so many other things. It was so much fun for both Morten and I.
It was just us, and one other couple, so we had a lot of time to ask Ryan all the questions we might have. I would definitely recommend checking out his cooking course if you’re in the area! 🙂
