Dinner is served everybody, and this episode #27 features lots of homestyle country cooking food items from Lambert’s Cafe in Ozark, Missouri!! Lambert’s Cafe is famous around the midwest and Alabama for their throwed rolls and delicious homestyle food favorites!! Their motto is, “Come hungry, leave full, and hopefully have a laugh or two.” I ordered four of their homestyle entrees, including chicken fried steak, fried catfish, chicken and dumplings, and a BBQ pork steak. That all came with 9 side items total and I also got to enjoy some of their famous throwed rolls and “pass-arounds” which are typically served to diners while waiting for their food. Lambert’s is known for their “pass-arounds” — onion fried potatoes, fried okra, macaroni & tomatoes, and black-eyed peas. I ate some of each of those along with the 9 side items my entrees came with. I enjoyed two of their warm throwed rolls and finished my meal with a huge “Hubcap” Cinnamon Roll.
