The Meat
1 3 lb. top sirlion roast (Bottom sirloin, top round, or bottom round may be substituted in that order)
The Rub
1 tablespoon course ground black pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
Pinch of crushed red pepper
The Juice
6 cups water
6 teaspoons Better Than Bouillion (Beef Flavor)
The Bread
High gluten french rolls, Turano or Gonella are preferred. (If unable to find Turano or Gonella rolls, any french dip roll or french baguette will work as a substitute)
