S-I gotta tell you guys something, when you look like this, people are always trying to figure out your ethnicity. “Hey Sammy, before we say grace…” When you’re thinking about God, how many arms does he have?…about?

S-Hey, this is Sammy Anzer, and I’m here at Il Posto, with Andrea FREE-ZELLY?

S-Hey you guys, we’re here with Sammy Anzer, I’m at Il Posto with chef, the great chef, Andrea “Frizzi”
A-Good job!
S-Ooh I got it!
S-You’re an award-winning chef, you have four restaurants, great reviews, everyone loves your places.. (β€œthank you”)…what’s your plan B if this whole cooking thing doesn’t work out?
A-So this is my kitchen, where the magic happens
S-Oh this is nice, I see you got a nice set up, you’ve got some ingredients. I knew we were going to be cooking today, so I brought some ingredients of my own.
A-*throws in trash* We’re going to go shopping
S-Alright!

S-So tell me something…how did you get started with cooking, what was your first dish on Kid’s Top Chef?
A-It started not as a passion, it started as a need, because my family had a need and we work in a family business. Then I went to culinary academy and I realized I was really good at it. And then I kick ass, and I like it a lot, and now it’s my life! That’s pretty much how it works.
S-I get that, it’s kind of luck for me, with Pokemon… like when I first started playing it, there were a lot of people playing it, and I was like β€œwow, I’m really good at this, I’m a natural”
A-Are you proud of it?
S-Yeah, I’m a master now…
A-You’re a master Pokemon? What’s your name?
S-My Pokemon name? …Bad Boy.
A-Wow, that’s a horrible name…

S-Hey, I was thinking you could show me how to shop, because I feel like I’m good at shopping but then every time I leave the super market, I always just have Eggo waffles
A-You have to shop with your heart, not with your head. You have to shop like, β€œokay, I’m going here, what’s going to make me happy today? Which kind of food is going to make me happy?”
S-What’s going to make us happy today?
A-Risotto is going to make us happy, like crazy happy!
A-We’re going to get the best rice (hold on where are you going) for risotto money can buy. This is carnaroli, this is the best grain of rice for risotto.
S-It sounds good!
A-Can you hear the ocean? No, because it’s rice. So we’re going to get that (okay one thing down) and we’re going to get some olive oil. What do you think is a good one?
S-Uhmm okay I’m going to shop with my heart, let me think. I feel like this is a good olive oil
A-No, because it’s peanut oil
S-Okay, this is the one right here
A-This is from, actually, Toscanaβ€”
S-Tuscany, why did you say it like that?
A-Because it’s Toscana, it’s my country not yours, so I saw it however I say it
S-Alright, let’s go (follow me)
A-Nice shoes, by the way (oh thank you)

S-What’s your cooking catchphrase? Like a cooking catchphrase, I have one, I have a cooking catch phrase
A-What is it?
S-β€œThis is gonna be good”
A-We’ve got a graduation, turn around, turn around
S-Ohhh, this feels nice
A-Yes, we are not talking about it, this never happened
S-Ohh this, is good
