Adriano Moretti is a young winemaker based in Monteu Roero, in the Roero area of Piedmont in Italy. Together with his family he is the owner of Bajaj, a farm that doesn’t only focus on viticulture but that has reserved 20 hectares of land to grow fruit and vegetables in order to respect the biodiversity of the area.
His contribute to The HUMANS of Wine Project focuses on how the winery is has been working to fill the gap of lost clients looking for new consumers through the online market.
Without the presence of wine tourism, Adriano was able to focus more on working outside taking care of the fruits of their land. At the same time though, Adriano is very present on social media, in fact during the lockdown he started an IGTV serie called Wine & Friends.
“I think from now on it will e very important to focus on our identity. In the future the promotion will be very focused on what we are, what we produce and the way we work”.
