In this video, I show you how to prepare fresh broccoli. In case you’re tired of frozen but don’t know how to prepare fresh broccoli, here is YOUR video.
Try it three ways:
🥦ROASTED:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place prepared broccoli on large baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and add salt and pepper to taste.
Mix thoroughly with your hands.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes
🥦STEAMED:
Prepare broccoli and place in steamer.
Steam until soft or to desired done-ness.
Drizzle on freshly squeezed lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
🥦SAUTEED:
Steam broccoli as directed above, omitting lemon juice.
Drizzle about 2 TBSP oil in saute pan and add 4-5 cloves freshly chopped garlic.
Saute garlic in oil just until fragrant. Be careful not to let garlic burn.
Add steamed broccoli and stir until coated with oil and garlic mix.
Serve hot with salt and pepper and you can even add some freshly squeezed lemon juice to this one too.
