Bars, cafes, and restaurants reopened in Athens on Monday, after being closed for nearly 10 weeks since the coronavirus lockdown was put in place.
The Acropolis Hill, which hosts the UNESCO World Heritage Site and world-renowned Parthenon, could be seen crawling with visitors walking past the numerous terraces at the foot of it. The Acropolis itself reopened for visitors last week.
Greece has been gradually lifting COVID-19 restrictions over the last weeks with beaches reopening for swimmers in mid-May.
