Here are some of the questions Coach Jeremy Williams asked Tony during the interview:
Why did you venture down the path of being a restaurant owner?
Amedeo’s has been serving amazing food since 1985, what inspired the menu and ambiance for this restaurant.
In 2007, you made the decision to open up another restaurant, Raffa’s Waterfront Grill in Kingwood. What brought you to a decision to have two restaurants with 2 different concepts in Kingwood?
August 2017 was a tragedy for the community of Kingwood, and frankly all of Southeast Texas, and it also brought flood waters that inundated Raffa’s. As a coach, I’m always interested in understanding mindset. What was your mindset when that event happened, and how did it change moving forward in the rebuild process?
That is not the only challenge you’ve now faced, more recently it has been the government shutdown with COVID-19. How have you faced these challenges head on?
You’ve always been deeply rooted in supporting the community. What does the community mean to you as a business owner, and how can they continue to support both Amedeo’s and Raffa’s?
Last question, if you were to impart one piece of advice to a current restaurant owner anywhere in our great country about dealing with tough times, what would you share?
