Recipes: Shrimp Scampi

¼ cup Olive Oil
2tbsp Butter
2 toes garlic chopped
1 tbsp sliced green onions
1 tsp dried tyme
½ tsp paprika
Juice from ½ lemon
1 tbsp Italian Breadcrumbs
1 doz nice shrimp 21-25 count tails
¼ cup white wine

Preparation
Put 1st seven ingredients in medium skillet and heat until fragrant on a medium fire
That’s about 2-3 minutes.
Add shrimp to skillet and turn over when they start to curl and add dash or two of white
wine and let alcohol evaporate.
Remove skillet from fire and leave scampi in skillet
Sprinkle Italian breadcrumbs on top and place under broiler to brown

Fettuccine DiBlasi

1 cup Whipping Cream
8oz fresh grated cheese, blend of parmesan and romano
1 tbsp butter
8 0z fettuccine pasta
Salt and white pepper for sauce, to taste
Black pepper to sprinkle on top

Preparation:

Heat cream and butter in a small saucepan on medium heat until cream becomes frothy.
sprinkle cheese into heated cream and blend using a wire whisk.
You won’t necessarily need all the cheese, so don’t be afraid to taste, add more cheese
If you need. Salt and pepper to taste.
Boil pasta al dente, let drain and don’t rinse.
Put pasta in a bowl, pour a portion of the Alfredo sauce and mix.
Add more sauce if needed and sprinkle with cheese and black pepper.
Put under the broiler until toasted.
