ENGLISH – There’s no doubt that coronavirus has impacted a lot of people in the country and since the country implemented national lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19. There are families who are struggling to make ends meet or to put food on the table. They now depend on food parcels being distributed by non-profit organisations, SASSA, and other structures of government but with all these their allegations of councillors who are using favouritism to give people these food parcels. Our guest was Thulamela Municipality Mayor, Mr. Avhashoni Tshifhango who gave us details on how they are distributing food parcels as municipality to the people and helping those who need help.
