Join me this week as we tour A taste of italy with Zuppa Toscana. Here is the recipe
32 oz chicken broth
1/2 white onion. Can use a whole if preferred. Diced
2 lbs italian sausage. i prefer one hot one mild
2 kale bundles
4 baking potatoes sliced
2 tbsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp of black pepper 1 tsp salt
2 cup water
2 cups of heavy whipping cream
Cooked bacon…as much as you want
Cook sausage put in pan with the grease it was cooked in. You can drain some if you want less to make it a bit lighter.
Cook bacon, drain, crush
Combine all ingredients and then set on medium bring to boil for 30 min then reduce heat to low to simmer until you can easily cut through your potatoes.
